Jude: 11 months

 

Judah Buddha is 11 months old. We have found a way to contain him for a photo op. Our little man is growing so much. He has discovered the water and loves it. He is eating three meals a day with us, small portions of what we eat. He is nursing 5 times a day and once at night. He can stand alone and is ready to walk. He is learning to clap. He can show us "So big". He loves to play with his siblings and is especially fond of his mother hens. He loves Mama and Daddy. He says "bye bye". He finally has some hair to speak of. He is very loving gives the best snuggles.

Bookshelf

This man never ceases to amaze me! His talent is growing with each new project he takes on. This one was for our classroom. We needed somewhere to put all of our books, cubbies, puzzles, curriculum and supplies in a orderly fashion. The bookshelf that he built was completely reclaimed pallet wood, except for the top two pieces, which were salvaged wood from

Cicadas

The noise is deafening. Like something out of a science fiction movie. They have waited 17 years for this! We have trees everywhere, thus we have cicadas literally EVERYWHERE. They buzz and screech at us if we accidentally touch them. They have hitched rides inside our vehicle, unknown by us. There are holes all over our yard where these creatures have tunneled out to molt. There are crunchy shells scattered about.
